Refund and Returns Policy

Due to the nature of the vacation rental business, we cannot accept cancellations occurring later than 14 days before the arrival date.

  • If you wish to cancel 14 days before the arrival date, we will refund 80%* of the booking value in the original payment mode or 100% in the form of a future credit note. 

  • For cancellations that are made between 7-14 days, you will forfeit all sums paid unless we are able to re-rent the property, in which case we will refund an amount equal to 50% of the total booking value or 60% in the form of a future credit note.

  • If you are making a cancellation within 7 days of the check-in date, the booking will be non-refundable.
    If the booking has been partially paid for, the cancellation will be deemed non-refundable.

    *Please note: A cancellation fee worth 20% of the booking value shall be levied for all refunds processed by Itchyfeet Bunny. This is primarily applicable to cover platform charges, convenience fees, and processing charges.

Q- What is Itchyfeet Bunny Cancellation policy?

A- For any new reservation, you can cancel 14 days prior to the arrival date and receive 80%* of the booking value.

If you cancel between 7-14 days prior to the check-in, 50% of the booking value will be refunded, and no refund will be issued if you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation.

*Please note:

  • Cancellation fee worth 20% of the booking value shall be levied for all refunds processed by Itchyfeet Bunny. This is primarily applicable to cover platform charges, convenience fee and processing charges.
  • Standard cancellation policy will not be applicable for peak dates.

Q- How does the Future Credit Note work?

A-

  • The credit note amount is equal to the sum of money (for ex- rs 1000 in credit note is equal to Rs 1000 in the final bill). So you can use this credit note in your next booking and in case your next reservation’s booking amount exceeds the credit note amount the difference shall be borne by the guest.
  • The validity of the credit note is six months from the date of issue. Post that it will get expired. 
  • A credit note is transferable only when it has been updated to management. Please drop an email to rohit@itchyfeetbunny.com for transferring it. If not updated to management prior then it will be considered null void.
  • In case a booking is made using the credit note and it gets canceled again then the credit note will get expired and standard cancellation rates will be applicable. 
  • A credit note is like your Itchy Wallet. You can partially use them in your bookings also. 

Q- Is there a Rescheduling Policy?

A-

By Guest:

  • Guest can only raise a request for rescheduling 14 days prior to the check-in date.
  • No rescheduling is allowed on weekends, gazetted holidays, festivals, and the new year.
  • If still the guest requests for rescheduling then any difference in property rates will be borne by the guest.

By Itchyfeet Bunny:

Itchyfeet Bunny reserves the right to cancel a booking. In such a case, guests are eligible for any one of the following options:

  • A full refund will be initiated in the original payment mode within 5-7 days.
  • A credit note will be offered to the guest by Itchyfeet. It will be transferred to the Itchy Wallet; which guests can use in the future.
  • Itchyfeet can book or upgrade the property for the guests.

Q- Are there any other terms and conditions to note?

A-

  • Standard check-in time is 1 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.
  • GST is applicable on cancellation fees. 
  • All refunds issued are exempt from accommodation fees and cleaning fees. 
  • In case of early check-ins and extended departures, an additional fee may be charged depending on Itchyfeet’s discretion and the availability of the home. 
  • Bookings made via third-party sites, such as Airbnb or GoMMT, may be subject to the respective channel’s cancellation terms. Please check the Cancellation Policy of the site where the booking was originally made.
