Day 01 : Rishikesh or Haridwar or Kharsali or Barkot via Mussoorie – Kempty Fall
(215 kms./08 Hrs.)
Day 02 : Kharsali / Yamunotri / Kharsali or Barkot Excursion (Trek 5 kms.one way)
Day 03 : Kharsali or Barkot / Uttarkashi (135 kms/ 05 Hrs.)
Day 04 : Uttarkashi / Gangotri / Uttarkashi (200 kms/ 05 Hrs.)
Day 05 : Uttarkashi / Guptkashi (Sitapur) (240 kms/ 09 hrs.)
Day 06 : Guptkashi / Kedarnath – (By Helicopter OR by 18 Kms Trek via Gaurikund)

Char Dham detailed Tour Programme: –

Day 01 : Rishikesh / Kharsali (215 kms/ 8-9 hrs.)

0900 Hrs : You will be met at a pickup point
1100 hrs : Further drive to Kharsali via Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty Fall if time
permits. On arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure.
No activities: Acclimatize your mind & body to start a trek the next day to Yamunotri
2000 Hrs. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel at Hotel.

Day 02 : Kharsali – excursion to Yamuntri Temple.( 6 kms. Trek – one way)

0600 hrs. : Breakfast at the hotel later start your trek to Yamunotri (6kms). You may go
with other options like Palki and Doli.
Attractions:
1.Yamuna Maa Temple – the main diety.
2. Cooked rice: the pilgrims cook rice in hot water kund at take it back home as
prasad.
3. Surya Kund – the major hot spring which flows from the vicinity of the temple.
4. Divya Shila – it’s a rock pillar worshiped before entering the temple.
– After taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warn water and having “Darshan” of pious
“Yamunaji” returning to Kharsali.
1900 hrs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Kharsali

Kharsali:- Kharsali is a beautiful hamlet located in the foothills of Yamunotri
Dham, Is the winter home of Goddess Yamuna Ji & base camp for Yamunotri
Dham- all the Rawals of this dham hails from this place only.

Attractions:-
1.Shani Dev Ji Temple:- one can visit Shani Dev Temple( The God of Karma) located in
Kharsali Village.
2. Kharsali Village Tour:- Known for its traditional Pahadi houses & ancient temples.

Day 03 : Kharsali / Uttarkashi ( 135 km/ 5hrs.)

0800 hrs : After breakfast push off for your next destination Uttarkashi. On the way
you can stop over for TEA at Radi Top where you can have glimpses of beautiful
Himalayan ranges and further explore Shiv Gufa.
1400 hrs : On arrival check in at the Hotel.
1700 hrs : proceed for sightseeing of Uttarkashi

Attractions :
1. Kashi Vishwanath Temple
2. Aarti at Kashi Vishwanath Temple
3. Shakti Temple

2000 hrs : enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 :Uttarkashi / Gangotri/ Uttarkashi – (200 kms/ 9 hrs.) –

0900 hrs : After late breakfast push over to Gangotri via Harsil.

Attractions:-
1. Harsil –on the way to Gangotri Harsil itself is an attraction a destination that has
become popular among the traveler in a very short period.
2. Apple orchards –known for their delicious harsil apples are popular globally today.
3. Gangotri Temple –was made by Gorkha General Amar Thapa in the 18th century.
4. Submerged Shivling – according to mythology lord Shiva sat on this rock when he
received GANGA in the matted lock., the rock is only visible during the winters when
the water level goes down.

1300 hrs : drive down to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in at the Hotel.
2000 Hrs : Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi/ Guptkashi (Sitapur) (245 kms/ 08 hrs.)

0700 hrs. After breakfast drive to Guptkashi/ Sitapur.
1700 hrs. On arrival check in at the hotel.
2000 hrs. Dinner – Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Guptkashi/ Sitapur – Sonprayag– Kedarnath (30 Km OR 18 Kms drives +20
Km trek / 07-08 Hrs)

Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From
there, you will start your 18 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for
your trek (Cost Not Included). Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges
originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund.
On arrival check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges. Dinner and Overnight at Govt. Camps/Lodges.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is on the Garhwal
Himalayan range near the Mandakini River in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand in India.
Day 07 : Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/ Sitapur (18 Km trek down)
Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking a bath you are at the temple by
4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha
and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After
darshan and puja, you come out of the temple and return to the Camps / Lodges. Later
you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles wait
for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you’ll drive to your hotel (Sitapur)/Guptkashi.
Dinner and Overnight at Rampur /Sitapur/Guptkashi.

Lunch at – on a direct payment basis

Day 08 :Guptkashi (Sitapur)/ Chopta/ Badrinath (230 kms/ 8 hrs.)

0800 hrs : After breakfast drive for Badrinath today via Ukimath, Chopta and
Joshimath.
1600 hrs : On arrival in Badrinath check in at your hotel & proceed for darshan and
Aarti of Badrivishal.
2000 hrs Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 09 : Badrinath/ Rudraprayag/ Sri Nagar (195 kms/ 7 hrs.)

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of
Badri Vishal. Brahamakapal is significant for PinddanShraddh of ancestors (Pitrus).

Badrinath

Badrinath: situated at an elevation of 3133 mts. above sea level, Badrinath is one of the
most celebrated pilgrim destination of the country.

Attractions –
Mana Village – it’s the last Indian village before Tibet, inhabited by the indo-Mongolian tribe
Vyas Gufa – a rocky cave in Mana Village, believed that rishi Vyas scripted famous
epic of times “Mahabaratha”
Charan Paduka – a beautiful meadow where you can see the footprints of Lord
Vishnu on a boulder Tapt Kund – it’s a natural hot water spring where the devotees
take a bath before entering the temple for pooja, and darshan.
Narad Kund – next to the Tapt Kund, believed that the idol of Badrinath Ji was
recovered from this pool.

Vishuprayag – the first prayag, confluence of Dhauliganga and Alakananda River.

1300 hrs : Drive down to Sri Nagar route visiting Rudraprayag
1800 hrs : on arrival check in at your Hotel.
2000 hrs : Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 10 :Sri Nagar/ Devprayag/ Rishikesh /Haridwar-Drop (165 km/ 6 hrs.)

0800 hrs. : After breakfast drive to Haridwar en-route visiting Devprayag

Devprayag

Devprayag: one of the panch prayags where the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and
Bhagirathi happens.
Visit Raghunath Ji Temple: It is believed that Lord Ram and his father King Dushratha
did penance here. The temple here is believed that have been built more than ten thousand
years ago revealing the history of the existence of Lord Krishna & Lord Rama.

1400 Hrs : Approx arrive Haridwar -On reaching drop at railway station/airport.
